who we are
Global Children’s Movement is committed to helping children at risk around the world. This oftentimes takes on a variety of different shapes and forms, since the needs are different in every place. It is our posture to remain flexible and open so that we can be creative and effective in how we reach out to each child and each community. The majority of what we do can be summed up into three categories: Advocacy, Humanitarian Aide, Training and Equipping.
how we help
Advocacy
Global Children’s Movement sees value in each person through the eyes of Christ. As a result, we see it as our responsibility to speak on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. We seek to raise awareness and action regarding; children at risk, widows, and those who are being exploited on a daily basis.
Humanitarian Aide
Global Children’s Movement provides a variety of Aide to needy individuals, families, and communities. We aspire to meet the needs of families through housing, education and economic development, micro-enterprise projects and delivery of needed goods such as; food, clothing, school supplies, needed materials, medical necessities etc.
Our projects range from supporting a feeding center for malnourished children in Latin America, to a multi-faceted Aide facility in Western Kenya called the Children’s Rescue, which offers a variety of services to the community. We are always trying to gather more resources to funnel out to the areas of greatest need.
Training and Equipping
We provide a variety of mentoring, training, and resourcing to leaders and communities. We have a passion to impart kingdom principles and the values which equip people to become leaders and vessels of transformation in their own community. A huge part of what we do consists of training and equipping children and leaders. We believe that children have huge potential and if given a place of value and influence will become vessels of transformation in their communities. We teach children biblical principles thatgive them value and self-worth. We have seen major changes in children as they have been touched by this beautiful message of hope. As the lives of children begin to be transformed, this spills out into the community and these same children become vessels of healing and change. We believe it is not enough to just teach the children, because they need solid trusted adults in their lives who carry the same values—for that reason we also train leaders how to effectively value and work with children. There is a level of power that is released when we walk together inter-generational. We commonly minister in churches, conferences, and seminars to train both children and leaders, and we continue to see phenomenal results as people embrace kingdom truth.
